The South Ossetian delegation headed by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev will take an active part in the events of the business program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic reports.
As part of the SPIEF-2024, as noted by the press service, in accordance with the previously reached agreements, it is planned to sign the cooperation agreement in the trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres with the government of the Ulyanovsk region, as well as approve a plan for the implementation of a similar agreement with the Leningrad region, signed last year.
In addition, the South Ossetian delegation intends to hold a number of meetings with representatives of the authorities and business communities from other regions of Russia.
"The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is the largest platform for discussing key economic issues. It is very important for South Ossetia to continue integrating into the economic space of Russia, expand the circle of business partners, and create conditions for the influx of investors into the Republic. "I am confident that participation in the SPIEF will be fruitful for us," the press service has quoted the head of the South Ossetian delegation, Konstantin Dzhussoev.
The delegation participating in the Forum has included Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dzambolat Tadtaev, Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Kotaev, Trade Representative of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Taimuraz Goginov, Director of the Management Board of Joint-Stock Sberbank of the Republic of South Ossetia Soslan Bekoyev.
