Western curators are pushing Georgia to open a second front, which could result in catastrophic consequences for its own people, Vice-Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia Taimuraz Tadtayev believes.
He has noted that more and more details are being revealed about the absolutely sophisticated and very cruel policy of the Western countries, led by the United States, towards the peoples of the Caucasus.
“This situation has been going on for hundreds of years, and we are witnessing such a clearly structured position and policy towards the peoples living in the Caucasus, including South Ossetia and Abkhazia,” Tadtaev said.
According to the Vice-Speaker, Georgia, with the help of the political establishment of the Western countries led by the United States, has been pursuing its own focused policy towards South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
"At the beginning of the 20th century, when the Georgian Democratic Republic was formed, there were also German and English troops there, who in every possible way pushed for military action against the Red Army. And we remember what all this turned out to be for South Ossetia in 1920, when the genocide of the Ossetian people was carried out with the help of the Western allies," he has noted.
Taimuraz Tadtaev has reminded that Georgia was the first to express a desire to abandon the huge ship - the USSR, to abandon it in the open sea.
"Of course, such actions were taken with the help of various kinds of instructors who penetrated deep into the very heart of Georgia's domestic policy, which was carried out only with the help of such sentiments, and this resulted in military actions in 1989. South Ossetia remembers 2004, we will never forget August 2008, when Saakashvili came to power with the help of his Western friends, who brought him up, raised him and gave him everything he needed to unleash a war in South Ossetia and Abkhazia," the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament has noted.
He has also reminded that only thanks to Russia, the policy of the Russian authorities in the person of Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev and Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the war was stopped.
"And today it is not news that Georgia was and is being pushed to kindle a second front in the South Caucasus, so that having unleashed a war it would last a few days. I think sensible people understand that in this case the Georgian authorities will expose their people, who in fact will not last even two days,” Tadtaev has emphasized.
He has added that a global world campaign is underway, “the so-called war unleashed in Ukraine, where Russia is actually fighting a vivid manifestation of terrorist fascism that has revived in Ukraine.”
“It seemed that it was finished in 1945, but fascism has raised its head again. A war was unleashed between fraternal Slavic peoples, in which all the peoples of Russia are participating today, volunteers from South Ossetia and Abkhazia, who are defending the interests of not only their republics, but also the Russian world, the Russian people. We stood shoulder to shoulder on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, at the end of which we raised the red flag over the Reichstag in Berlin, so this is our common war, we are taking an active part in it,” the Vice-Speaker of parliament has noted.
He has added that therefore, the Georgians must understand that any reckless actions and opening of a second front threaten them with serious consequences.
