In October, 23 violators of the established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia. Of these, 11 were violators of the state border regime and 12 were violators of the border regime. This was reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the Republic.
The department has reported that the KGB Border Service conducted investigations into each fact of violation of legal regimes.
“As a result, 17 people were subject to administrative fines, and six were given warnings,” the press service has noted.
The Border Service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reminded that staying within the border zone of the Republic is associated with a number of restrictions.
The KGB has warned that deliberate violation of the legal regimes established at the state border and border territory entails not only administrative, but in some cases also criminal liability.
