The significant historical date of October 5, 1990, marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of Adygea, strengthening its statehood and socio-economic progress, South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev noted in a congratulatory message to the head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, and the Adyghe people on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Republic's founding.
"This holiday symbolizes the unity, rich history, and cultural heritage of Adygea," the President said.
According to him, today Republic of Adygea is developing confidently, demonstrating economic growth and social stability.
The head of state emphasized that South Ossetia and Adygea are bound by close and friendly relations.
"I express hope for further fruitful cooperation, which will contribute to strengthening friendship and developing mutually beneficial ties between our republics, aimed at the well-being of the Ossetian and Adyghe peoples," the President said.
He wished Murat Kumpilov good health, inexhaustible energy, and further success in his public service for the benefit of Republic of Adygea, as well as wished peace, well, and prosperity to entire people of the republic.
