A meeting between the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Sergey Glazyev took place in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the parties held a detailed exchange of views on the prospects for deepening South Ossetia's interaction with the Union State structures.
Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of intensifying cooperation in the humanitarian and cultural spheres.
The meeting was also attended by Olga Boronenko, Head of the Department of Social Policy and Information Support of the Standing Committee of the Union State, and Denis Dolgushev, Counselor of the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation.
The discussion is aimed at further strengthening ties and implementing joint projects that contribute to the development of South Ossetia.
