Representatives of the Russian Export Center visited the South Ossetian stand at the Prodexpo 2026 and discussed the prospects for a large-scale winemaking project—the construction of the modern winemaking complex in the region.
The parties are working on the project parameters using the REC Group's tools. They plan to utilize credit and insurance products from EXIAR and ROSEXIMBANK, including financing for equipment supplies, as well as consulting support at all stages—from design to product launch in the international markets.
Special attention was paid to the existing production facilities: the wines of the Ironsan Winery and the products of the High-mountain Kel Brewery received high praise. Their successful experience has become the basis for scaling up the industry.
Cooperation is developing systematically: a memorandum of understanding was previously signed, and at the 1st International Economic Forum "South Ossetia: Investment Horizons," REC General Director Veronika Nikishina confirmed the Center's readiness to support the key projects in the Republic.
