South Ossetia took part in the II International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” in Kazan.

According to the press service of Ministry of Education of the Republic of South Ossetia, the event brought together representatives from more than 40 countries.

“At the plenary session, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of South Ossetia Alexander Galavanov made a report, noting that this forum is a unique platform for discussing key issues related to the development of the education sector,” the statement of the press service reads.

Today, the International Committee of the Red Cross, together with the Commissioner for Human Rights, together with the Association of Families of the Missing Persons, organized a trip for 15 children from the families of the missing persons to a private hippodrome in the village of Satskhenet. “This is the third such trip,” Lidiya Kudzieva, head of the Association, said. "Both children and adults really like this kind of pastime together."

Athletes from South Ossetia are taking part in the Brix Games in Kazan.

According to the press service of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports, Alexander Bazzaev represented the republic in gymnastics competitions.

“Our athletes will compete in 5 type of sport. The delegation of 34 people is headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports Soslan Gassiev,” the press service has noted.

The event is taking place from 11 to 24 June.

In May, 22 violators of the state border were detained in South Ossetia, of which five people were violators of the state border regime, 17 - of the border regime, the KGB of the Republic reports.

After processing 87% of the ballots, four political parties have entered the Parliament of South Ossetia, the Central Election Commission of the Republic reports.

Elections to the VIII convocation Parliament took place in South Ossetia on Sunday.

“This is the People’s Party - 15.41% (3186 votes), the Communist Party - 7.12% (1472 votes), United Ossetia - 30.32% (6267 votes) and Nykhas - 29.93% (6174 votes),” - the Commission has listed.

In total, the Parliament of South Ossetia has included 17 deputies from the parties and 17 single-members.
