The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity addressed a congratulatory telegram to the President of Russian Federation V.V. Putin on the occasion of the Day of Russia.

Chairman of the Republic of South Ossetia Yuri Morozov has recently returned from business trip to Moscow. Commenting the results of the trip to the correspondent of agency “Res”, he said that the main reason of the trip were negotiations with the Russian investors – potential investors into the economy of RSO. Besides that, Yuri Morozov signed an agreement to construct in the Republic relay communications system.

The Independence Day of Russia is celebrated in South Ossetia as 98% of the citizens of the Republic f South Ossetia are citizens of Russia.
