South Ossetia should apply all possible efforts for further development and prosperity of the Republic. This has been said IA "Res" by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua in the Republic of South Ossetia, Luis Alberto Molina Cuadra, who arrived in Tskhinval in connection with today's inauguration of the president of South Ossetia.
South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov received the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin. The President thanked the leadership of Russia for all-round assistance and supporting of South Ossetia.
"For my part, I want to assure the leadership of the Russian Federation, we will do our best to carry on the chosen course of our nation - forever with Russia. We will make every effort so that all the agreements which are concluded between our two countries, have been implemented in the near future "- said Tibilov.
The incoming President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov has taken an oath on the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Ossetian language.
"I swear in exercising the powers of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia to respect and protect the civil liberties, to respect and defend the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia, to protect the sovereignty and independence, security and territorial integrity of the Republic of South Ossetia, to serve the people faithfully" - Tibilov said at the solemn inauguration ceremony.
