Representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.
This has been announced by the RSO President Leonid Tibilov at the today's meeting with the heads of security, defence and law enforcement agencies of South Ossetia.
"Yesterday we have received one part of the delegation from the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, today we are expecting the rest of the guests," - said Tibilov.
According to him, the delegation will be working in the Republic for a week.

The Mayor of Yasbereny (Hungary) Tamas Szabo invited a delegation of South Ossetia to the official reception in honor of the guests of the annual International Folklore Festival.
The reception took place at the city hall of Yasbereny. The city hall was attended by leaders and members of the city parliament.

The visit of the delegation of South Ossetia headed, by Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Mira Tskhovrebova to the Hungarian city of Yasbereny, is going ahead.
A meeting with the Mayor of Yasbereny Dr. Tamas Szabo has also taken place. The Mayor welcomed the guests warmly. Mira Tskhovrebova sent him the regards from the Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia Stanislav Kochiev. During the conversation, which was being held in the presence of representatives of the city of Yasbereny parliament and the media, the head of the delegation told about South Ossetia, its culture and contemporary political history of South Ossetia. The main topic of the discussion was the prospects of mutual cooperation.

War is the omnivorous evil that destroys human destiny without being interested specially who is right and who isguilty. War is always accompanied by devastation and suffering. It crushes everything in its path, and leaves after the emptied, mangled, burned down souls, extinguished hopes, unfulfilled dreams ...

The mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) intends to continue supporting the needy population of South Ossetia. As IA "Res" has been informed by the assistant of the head of the ICRC office in Tskhinval Wanda Bolataeva, in a program on supporting the population of South Ossetia, the ICRC is guided by strict criteria for determining the vulnerability of the potential beneficiaries.

Students of the South Ossetian State University have participated in the youth-Russian Educational Forum "Seliger-2012". As IA "Res" has been informed by one of the forum participants Alexander Kumaritov, the trip to the forum was organized with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia and the mission of the Russian Cooperation in South Ossetia.

Throughout the whole epoch the Georgian rulers have been seeking to seize the ancient Ossetian lands and annihilate their Ossetian neighbors to expand the borders of Georgia. The genocide of the Ossetian people in 1920, the genocide of 1989-1992, the armed invasion in 2004 left never-healing wounds in the historical memory of the Ossetian people. With the proclamation of independence of Georgia each new ruler was launchingmilitary actions against South Ossetia. Each aggression of the Georgian forces against South Ossetia was distinguished by the barbarous inhumanity and cruelty.

The tragic events of August 2008 are still alive in my memory. Then we were grieving, were suffering very much, we wanted to help, not even physically, but to support morally. We were grieving every moment, doing everything possible for people to hear the truth, what was really going on.

We, members of the international round table "For Peace and Harmony in the Caucasus", held in Tskhinval August 8, 2012, - the day of the fourth anniversary of the Georgian aggression against the Republic of South Ossetia, following the universally recognized human rights, understanding the sociopolitical situation in the Caucasus, the goodwill and sense of civic responsibility:

The delegation of South Ossetia headed by a candidate of philology, docent Mira Tskhovrebova met with the scientific and cultural representatives of Hungary in the cityof Yasbereny (Republic of Hungary).
Hungarian scientists reported on the studies in the most important aspects of the historical, cultural and linguistic heritage of our common ancestors - Alans and the Jassic people, which are reflected in the modern linguistic parallels, the resemblance in many folk customs, traditions and even in folklore verbal formulas (Hungarian folk tales).
