South Ossetian athlete Sarmat Ikaev won the powerlifting World Cup. The competitions were held in Moscow (Dolgoprudny).
Ikaev won the deadlift, lifting the bar weighing 285 kg, performing in the weight class up to 125 kg among juniors under 23 years of age.
Commenting on his victory to the Res agency, the athlete noted that he had beaten his rivals by several kilograms.
In total, about 250 foreign delegates are expected to attend the Forum.
Representatives of more than a dozen countries will gather on Tuesday at the international economic forum in Donetsk, which will discuss building a model of economic development in extreme conditions, attracting capital, despite international sanctions. The first International Diplomatic Forum Charles Readings was held in Antalya, Turkey, as part of the II International Festival of Russian-Turkish Friendship "Sources", with the support of the Andrei Karlov Foundation and the Moscow International School, the 15th Region reports.
The event was dedicated to the memory of the Russian diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkey, Hero of Russia A.G. Karlov, who was killed in 2016.
