Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Envoy of South Ossetia Discussed a New Round on Transcaucasia

Geneva discussions on Transcaucasia remain the only dialogue platform between Sukhum, Tbilisi and Tskhinval

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and Presidential Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, Murat Dzhioyev, discussed on Friday the preparations for the next round of Geneva discussions on stability and security in Transcaucasia, TASS reports citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Ministry of Emergencies of South Ossetia and LPR gave legal status to the relations between the two republics

On Friday the heads of the ministries for emergency situations of South Ossetia and the Luhansk People's Republic, Azamat Chochiev and Yevgeny Katsavalov, signed a Cooperation Agreement in Tskhinval.

The parties noted the importance of the signed document.

Yevgeny Katsavalov said: "We went to it for several years, and today we have given legal status to the relations between our republics. It will be very fruitful work for the benefit of the two republics."

Chochiev has noted that the parties actively cooperated even before the signing of the agreement.

The fight against crime: Prosecutors General of South Ossetia and the LPR agreed on cooperation

Prosecutor General of South Ossetia Uruzmag Dzhagaev and the acting LPR Prosecutor General Sergei Gorenko signed a Cooperation Agreement.

"We prepared the agreement during the year, agreed on the text through diplomatic channels and came to a common opinion. The signed document will contribute to the joint fight against crime in both republics," said Dzhagaev.

According to him, the signed document obliges the parties by mutual agreement to provide universal and required assistance in the establishment and development of the two departments.

South Ossetia and the LPR will provide each other with legal assistance

The heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia and the LPR, Igor Naniev and Igor Kornet, signed an agreement on legal assistance and cooperation.

Ministers noted the importance of the signed agreement for the republics.

"By signing today's agreement, we emphasize our readiness to provide each other with legal assistance and assistance in suppressing organized crime and strengthening public order in our republics," said Igor Naniev.

Igor Kornet also expressed confidence in the fruitful development of cooperation between the two departments.
