April 8, 1991 was a black day in the history of the village of Tsinagar

In the village of Tsinagar, Leningor District of South Ossetia, a mourning rally will be held on Sunday to commemorate the victims of the Georgian aggression. As reported to IA "Res" by the district administration, a memorial event will be held at the monument to the fallen defenders of the village.

Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Rashid Nurgaliyev, at a meeting in Tskhinval, said that it was necessary to take measures to combat the threats posed by the biological laboratory in neighboring Georgia.

The eighth Moscow International Security Conference MCIS-2019, organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense, continues its work in Moscow. The ministers of defense, their deputies and the chiefs of the general headquarters of 35 countries are taking part in it. The topic for discussion, in particular, is “International peacekeeping: new approaches and military cooperation”.

The South Ossetian delegation laid wreaths and flowers to the Eternal Flame and the Mother Motherland monument at Piskarevsky cemetery in St. Petersburg as part of the work of the IX International Victory Forum "Great Victory gained by unity".

The South Ossetian delegation is headed by the First Deputy head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Dzhussoev.

On Wednesday in the capital of South Ossetia took place a memorial evening for the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The memorial event was attended by Speaker of the Republic’s Oarliament Peter Gassiev, State Adviser to the President of South Ossetia Konstantin Pukhaev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev, Adviser to the Russian Embassy in South Ossetia Sergei Manko, citizens of the Armenian nationality living in the Republic.
