President of South Ossetia called to remember the names of all who laid their heads on the altar of the Fatherland

President Anatoly Bibilov took part in a memorial rally dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Tsinagar tragedy. April 28, 1991, seven unarmed residents of the village of Tsinagar in Leningor District - Otar Margiev, Givi Bibilov, Slavik Chertkoev, Zaur Khubulov, Otar Khubulov, Tengiz Dudaev and Taimuraz Khubulov - defending their pastures from cattle theft, were killed by the Georgian aggressors.

The leadership of the Republic headed by President Anatoly Bibilov arrived today in Tsinagar to honor their memory, the presidential press service reports.

28 years of the Tsinagar tragedy: Remembering each victim is our duty

In the village of Tsinagar, Leningor District of South Ossetia, the victims of the Georgian aggression were commemorated on Sunday. On April 28, 1991, seven residents of Tsinagar, defending their native village, were brutally murdered by Georgian militants.

Prime Minister Erik Pukhaev expressed his attitude towards the memorable date, noting that the history of South Ossetia is full of dramatic upheavals and experiences that we must always remember.
