Against the background of the escalation of the armed confrontation in the zone of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the State Security Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia has recorded the "dangerous growth of extremist sentiments in Georgia, which in the conditions of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 31, and the victory of radical forces from among the supporters of Mikhail Saakashvili, may cause another aggravation of relations between South Ossetia and Georgia."
