Issues of bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia were discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia.

“On April 12, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic Marat Kulakhmetov,” the press service said.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and Ambassador of Abkhazia to the Republic Alan Elbakiev exchanged views on the state of South Ossetian-Abkhazian relations, which are traditionally friendly.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, the meeting of officials took place on Wednesday at the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, the parties also touched upon some aspects of the regional agenda.

Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuichenko during a telephone conversation invited his South Ossetian counterpart Oleg Gagloev to take part in the major international event in the field of law - the XI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, which will be held on May 11-13, the press service of the Ministry of Justice of the RSO reports.

South Ossetia will take part in the Caucasian Investment Exhibition, which will be held in the city of Mineralnye Vody in early May 2023. According to the press service of the government of the Republic of South Ossetia, the event is held to improve the investment climate in the regions and attract investors.
