Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia found explosives in the village of Kheit, Tskhinval District, the press service of the emergency department reports. 

"On Monday, at 15:39, the command center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about the discovery of explosives, namely ammonite, on the outskirts of the village of Kheit, Tskhinval District," the press service said.

The export of wine from South Ossetia to Russia last year, compared to 2021, increased by 2.5 times, cognac - by 3.5 times. This was reported to TASS by the head of the State Customs Committee of South Ossetia Murat Tskhovrebov.

"According to the data we have, in 2022, more than 2.9 million liters of wine were exported from South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, which is 141.4% more than a year earlier - in 2021, more than 1.2 million liters were exported ", - said Tskhovrebov.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in a solemn mourning ceremony on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the breaking of the blockade of Leningrad and the 79th anniversary of the complete liberation of the city from the fascist blockade during the Great Patriotic War. Issues of updating the regulatory framework for foreign policy activities were considered at the meeting of the board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia. The event was chaired by the head of the diplomatic department Akhsar Dzhioev, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

According to the press service, during the meeting, proposals for the development of comprehensive measures for the implementation of South Ossetia's foreign policy were also considered, as well as further steps and promising tasks were identified.
