The Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of South Ossetia Aelita Dzhioeva signed a Memorandum of Friendship and Mutual Assistance with the Children's Ombudsman of the Republic of Dagestan Marina Yezhova. The document was signed in Makhachkala, where Dzhioeva took part in the international round table dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the defeat of international gangs in Dagestan.
The official representations of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in Transnistria organized a solemn reception on the occasion of the official recognition of the two republics by Russia.
As reported by the official representation of the RSO in the PMR, representatives of the state authorities and the media of Transnistria took part in the event.
A commemorative event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Beslan terrorist attack will be held in the Russian capital on September 3, the press service of the Moscow Ossetian community reports.
“We invite everyone to honor the memory of the victims of the terrible tragedy and take part in the memorial service in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kulishki (the Alan farmstead) for those killed. The memorial service will begin at 12:15,” the press service has noted.
