As part of the working visit of the delegation of the Parliament of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council Grigory Karasin met with the Chairman of the Committee of the Parliament of South Ossetia on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Zaza Driaev, according to the official website of the Federation Council.

The incumbent President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, dismissed the head of the Presidential Executive Office, Igor Kozaev, and his deputies from their posts, according to their applications.

The decrees were published on Monday on the official website of the head of state.

Atsamaz Zasseev has been dismissed from the post of Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office, and Dina Gassieva has been dismissed from the post of Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office - Press Secretary of the President.

The incumbent President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, awarded the medals "Defender of the Fatherland" (posthumously) to the Honored Artist of South Ossetia Robert Kulumbegov and Sergeant Radislav Khugaev for courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty in the Donbass.

Georgy Biboevich (Gega) is one of the patriots of Ossetia killed by the Georgian aggressors, a father of Robert Ostaev, a deputy of the South Ossetian parliament. On May 20, 1992, on the road through the village of Zar, a convoy of refugees from South Ossetia was stopped by the Georgian armed formations and shot at point-blank range with machine guns. Ostaev's parents were in this ill-fated car.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko noted Tskhinval's comprehensive support for the Russian special operation to protect Donbass.

The solution to the issue of including South Ossetia into Russia will require taking into account all factors, including the geopolitical situation, said Andrei Rudenko, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.

"The issue of unification will require the participation of both parties. We will first look at how South Ossetian citizens will vote when the referendum takes place, and accordingly we will expect a reaction of the Russian Federation," Rudenko said, speaking at the Russian State Duma on Thursday.

On Thursday, the State Duma ratified the agreement on dual citizenship between South Ossetia and Russia. Presenting the initiative, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko has noted that a distinctive feature of the agreement with South Ossetia is the unilateral introduction for its citizens of a simplified procedure for acquiring Russian citizenship.

"The parameters of the procedure will be set by the President of the Russian Federation after the adoption of the relevant decree," Rudenko said.
