ROADS ARE TEMPORARILY DEBLOCKED

Earlier the Ministry of Interior of Georgia announced that all the people that crowded at the check point Upper Lars will be allowed to enter Georgia till 14 July through South Ossetia. After 14 July those that are going to Georgia will not to take the same root.
The correspondent of the informational agency “Res” approached Boris Chochiev, First Deputy Prime Minister, JCC Co-Chairman for the South Ossetian side.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE OSSETIAN SIDE

The Ossetian side made an announcement in respect of the illegal road blockage by the Georgian forces. The announcement particularly says that if by 10 a.m. on July 11, 2006 the part of the TransCaucasian highway Tamarasheni-Kekhvi is not opened for free movement, the Ossetian side will take adequate measures.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRESS-SERVICE OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF RSO

Grigory Marakutsa, Representative of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Pridnestrovie on Interparlimentary Ties, called Mr. Alan Pliev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of RSO. During the telephone conversation he expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of Oleg Alborov, Secretary of Security Council, killed in the terrorist act.

MIKHAIL MINDZAEV: “THE SITUATION IN THE CONFLICT ZONE IS CRITICAL”

Currently the situation in the conflict zone is critical. The escalation of the tension is done purposely, all the activities carried out by the Georgian side are meant to provoke the Ossetian side. This was announced by Mikhail Mindzsev, Minister of Interior, Republic of South Ossetia at the press-conference.

PEOPLE OF VILLAGE PRIS ARE WAITING FOR HELP FROM THE OSCE

The situation in the zone of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict remains tensed. As it is known, yesterday evening without coordinating with the local authorities and the JPKF Commander, the Georgian police moved one of it’s check points in direction of Tskhinval and blocked the road to village Pris.
The spontaneous rally of the residents of village Pris in front of the OSCE Mission continued until late evening.
