In South Ossetia, it is planned to implement serious projects in the field of industry and tourism within the framework of the Investment Program for Promotion of Social- Economic Development of the Republic, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev said in the exclusive interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"On January 13, the tender will be end and we are starting to implement serious programs, including the agro-industrial complex, the tourist and recreational complex, and the industrial complex as a separate line," the President said.

Residents of South Ossetia are fighting in the special operation in Ukraine with a sense of duty. This was stated by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev in an exclusive interview to the Russia-24 channel.

"South Ossetia was the first to recognize the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk Republics. Since 2014, our guys, together with their brothers from different regions of Russia, have been defending peace in the Donbass republics. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Andrey Tskhovrebov was given the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic.

"The diplomatic rank was assigned to Tskhovrebov by the decree of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev," the report says.

This is the highest-class rank, which is awarded to officials in the Foreign Ministry system.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the capitals of South Ossetia and the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic on Monday. The agreement on establishing sister city relations between the two cities was signed by the mayor of Tskhinval Geno Kadzhaev and the head of the municipality of Cherkessk Valery Deduk.

As noted by Deduk, a long and thorough work has been done on the agreement and expressed hope for fruitful work.

On Monday, President Alan Gagloev received a delegation from the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, which arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit, the press service of the head of state reports.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev visited the IDPs from the Donetsk People's Republic in Tskhinval and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year, the press service of the head of state reports.

Gagloev wished them peace and happiness, expressing confidence that soon all the difficulties will end, and the special operation will reach its logical conclusion.
