The South Ossetian delegation honored the memory of the Ossetian volunteers perished for the freedom of Abkhazia

The South Ossetian delegation, led by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, honored the memory of the Ossetian volunteers perished for the freedom of Abkhazia, the Cabinet press service reports.

"Flowers were laid at the memorial to the volunteers," the press service has noted.

Those present at the memorial ceremony have noted that the peoples of Ossetia and Abkhazia will never forget the heroism of these soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of the Abkhaz people.

Alan Gagloev received the Abkhazian Ambassador and congratulated him on Victory Day

During difficult times for Abkhazia, several groups of the South Ossetian youths supported the republic and stood alongside Abkhaz defenders of the homeland, some of whom gave their lives, President Alan Gagloev said during the meeting with Alan Elbakiev, the Abkhazian Ambassador to South Ossetia.

The head of state congratulated the representative of the fraternal nation on Victory Day and Abkhazia's Independence Day, celebrated on Tuesday.

South Ossetia honored the memory of those killed in the Patriotic War of the Abkhaz people

The South Ossetian delegation, led by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, took part in the flower-laying ceremony at the memorial to those killed in the Patriotic War of the Abkhaz people, the Cabinet press service reports.

"The events marking the Victory Day and the Independence of Abkhazia began with the laying of wreaths and flowers at the memorial to those killed in the Patriotic War of the Abkhaz people in the Park of Glory in Sukhum.

Thousands of Abkhaz citizens and guests of the republic participated in the ceremony," the press service has noted.

The South Ossetian delegation took part in the festive parade in Sukhum

The South Ossetian delegation, led by Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, took part in the parade in honor of the 32nd anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia, press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

A military parade in honor of the Victory Day and the Independence of Abkhazia took place on the Freedom Square in Sukhum on Tuesday.

More than 900 people took part in the ceremonial procession.

Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev congratulated the President and people of Abkhazia on the main national holiday.

Egor Kochiev reported cases of drone violations in the Republic's airspace.

Several instances of Georgia violating South Ossetian airspace have been recorded since the last meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM). Yegor Kochiev, head of the South Ossetian IPRM delegation, told reporters following the meeting in the village of Ergnet.

According to him, drones periodically fly into the Republic's territory.

"Several instances have been recorded over the past period, but they were non-aggressive," Kochiev has noted.

South Ossetia hopes for the dismantling of the Georgian police post in Uista

South Ossetia expects the Georgian police post located near the village of Uista to be dismantled soon. This was stated by the head of the South Ossetian delegation, Yegor Kochiev, following a meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM).

According to Kochiev, the issue of the illegal presence of the Georgian post is regularly raised by the South Ossetian party at the IPRM meetings.

He has noted that, despite the complexity of the issue, the work is underway.
