Тhe resolution on refugees and displaced persons from South Ossetia and Abkhazia, initiated by Georgia, once again demonstrates a blatant disregard for reality and the imposition of a one-sided position that ignores the true causes and consequences of the events, the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry stated, commenting on the document adopted yesterday at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

"Unfortunately, this once-respected international forum has in recent years become a vehicle for Georgia's destructive policies against the Ossetian and Abkhaz peoples.

At the 29th International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg a trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, the High-Tech Medical Care Charitable Foundation, and the S.A. Kirov Military Medical Academy.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Znaur Gassiev, Chairman of the Foundation's Board Sergey Fursenko, and the Head of the Military Medical Academy Evgeny Kryukov.

Resuming the work on a document on the non-use of force is a key issue in the Geneva Discussions, and all participants recognize its importance. The UN Co-Chair Mohamed Khaled Khiari stated this during a press conference with journalists.

"This work must continue, and we discuss these issues at every round. The issue of resuming the work on the document has been discussed today and will be on the agenda of the 67th round," Khiari has emphasized.

The UN Co-Chair expressed hope for achieving "certain concrete results" on this issue.

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev sent a telegram of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin following the tragic loss of civilian life in the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone on a Moscow-Simferopol bus.
