A meeting was held at the South Ossetian consular agency in Vladikavkaz between the head of the Tskhinval administration, Romeo Khugaev, and the mayor of Gradara (Italian Republic), Filippo Gasperi, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

Gasperi arrived in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as part of a delegation to participate in the memorial events in connection with the 20th anniversary of the tragedy in Beslan.

Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the permanent mission of the Republic of Crimea in Moscow, the press service of the diplomatic department reports.

The invitation to participate was received by the Ambassador from the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.

Director of the Central Library of Tskhinval Irina Prokopenko is taking part in the Forum "Our Libraries: Read in Russian" in St. Petersburg, the Russian House in Tskhinval reports.

The event is taking place at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Central City Public Library.

The Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of South Ossetia Aelita Dzhioeva signed a Memorandum of Friendship and Mutual Assistance with the Children's Ombudsman of the Republic of Dagestan Marina Yezhova. The document was signed in Makhachkala, where Dzhioeva took part in the international round table dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the defeat of international gangs in Dagestan.

The official representations of South Ossetia and Abkhazia in Transnistria organized a solemn reception on the occasion of the official recognition of the two republics by Russia.
