May 21 in Sochi will be held a working meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov.

Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev has paid an official visit to Sukhum, where he has taken part in the events to mark the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
In the course of the visit, May 16, 2013 was held the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Vyacheslav Chirikba. They discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and signed a plan of consultations for 2013.

May 20 in South Ossetia, will be commemorated the Day of Memory and Grief. A meeting of co-chairs of the Geneva international discussions on security in Transcaucasia with the Presidential Envoy to South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev and members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva talks is being held in Tskhinval.
At the beginning of the meeting the co-chairs were welcomed by Murat Dzhioev, who expressed the hope that their visit would contribute to further progress in the Geneva international process and the strengthening of peace and security in Transcaucasia.
"The challenges facing our talks are crisp - the contribution to safeguarding peace and security in South Ossetia and Abkhazia - said Dzhioev.
