According to the information of the RSO Minister of Interior press-service, today at 18:20 near the former Ergnety market, in the bordering territory between the Georgians and Ossetians, the officers of the Special Forces of the Georgian Minister of Interior smashed a taxi that was bringing Georgian passengers, after that they have severely beaten the Ossetian driver of the taxi. The attackers hid on the territory of Georgia. The taxi driver was hospitalized in grave condition.
The same day, according to the Minister of Interior press-service, at 16:50 at the police check point in a Georgian village Kekhvi was stopped a vehicle ZIL. The driver and the passenger of Ossetian ethnicity were severely beaten in front of the local population.
