The Russian peacemakers, having received heavy wounds as a result of explosion of the anti-tank mine, have been performed an operation on amputation of the lower extremities by the doctors of the somatic hospital of Tskhinval. As the assistant of the commander of the Mixed Forces on Peacekeeping the captain Vladimir Ivanov has informed the correspondent of «Res», the legs of the commander of the platoon and of the private soldier of the Russian peace-making battalion were amputated. The state of health of the victims is estimated as stably heavy.
Now the wounded military men are delivered to the military hospital of Vladikavkaz.
