The Co-Chairman of South Ossetian part of JCC Boris Chochiev met with the Head of Tskhinval OSCE Office Bozhidar Dimitrov. At the meeting they discussed a range of questions pertaining to activities of Mission in the Republic.
They also discussed the issue of the day- water blockade.
According to Boris Chochiev “in the near future we will clarify the places where Georgian side made illegal holes. Water blockade- is another attempt of Georgian authorities to legitimate the negligible figure of d. sanakoev. At first so called administrative unit shut water supply to Tskhinval and than made populist statements that in few days they were ready to solve the problem. We saw this in summer 2007 and the same is going on presently”.
To remind, in summer 2007 the population of Tskhinval was about of humanitarian calamity. There were made mechanical damages at the Transkam Kekhvi-Tamarasheni sector resulted in cut of water supply to Tskhinval.
