Today, OSCE vehicle carrying military observers had again crossed the state border of South Ossetia from Georgia, reports the RSO MoD.
"The OSCE vehicle had crossed the border of South Ossetia near the village of Artsev. This fact had been recorded by the check-point of the RSO MoD. After SO defense ministry staff had tried to stop the OSCE vehicle, it turned round and left the territory of South Ossetia", reported the RSO MoD.
It is worth mentioning that this kind of border crossing by OSCE and EU monitors has become regular. This additionally contributes to increase of tension in border areas of SO and in the security zone of Georgia, monitored by international observers. It seems like instead of contributing to situation stabilization, they intentionally aggravate it and by doing so they give another good reason to the Georgian side to blame the South Ossetian and the Russian sides in non-observance of the Medvedev-Sarkozy plan. Meanwhile, the Georgian side does not follow its provisions. The Georgian side had again started shelling Osseitan territory and fortifying their positions near the SO border. Unfortunately, the EU and OSCE observers did not respond to these destructive actions of the Georgian military forces and by their actions, they contribute to tensions at the borderline.
