A photo exhibition "Slovakia: the eyes, looking ahead", organized within the frames of cooperation between the youth wing of the People's Party of South Ossetia and the organization "Association of the Slovak Youth" has hosted today in the capital of South Ossetia. The event was attended by members of the People's Party, youth of Slovakia, representatives of the movement "New People", the People's Party of the Moldavian Republic of Transdniestria, students of the South-Ossetian State University and the invited guests. At the exhibition were presented the photos by Nicolas Te, Jonathan Gasco and other prominent Slovakian photographers.
In his speech Chairman of the Association of the Slovak youth Slawomir Yanchok congratulated everybody on the today's holiday.
"Dear friends, let me on behalf of the Slovak youth congratulate you on this occasion and wish the young Republic of South Ossetia success in growing up its statehood.", - said Yanchok.
According to him, the organizers of the exhibition tried to show the similarities and differences between Slovakia and South Ossetia.
"By exhibiting these photos, we tried to introduce the visitors to the life in Slovakia, its attractions," - said Yanchok.
He has stressed that the exhibition unites people from different countries in their common aspiration for freedom, peace, and desire to share the general cultural space.
It should be reminded that September 20, 2011, the Day of the Republic of South Ossetia, the youth wing of the RSO People's Party and the Union of the Slovak Youth signed a cooperation agreement in Slovakia.
