The Ossetian weightlifter Oleg Khugaev has wonthe European Championship among youth and juniors held in Eilat (Israel). This has been reported to IA "Res" by the information-analytical department of the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism of South Ossetia.
"Khugaev performed in the weight class up to 85 kilograms. In the snatch aggregate he was able to show the result of 360 kilograms. The athlete's performance in snatch is 163 kg, and in jerk - 197 kg. This brought him a large gold medal. In addition, following the results of performance in both the snatch movements, the Ossetian athlete has also won small gold medals, "- said the representative of the Committee.
He has added that Khugaev performed in the age group of juniors.
It should be noted that Khugaev represents the team of Belarus.
