A plan of law-making activities of the government of South Ossetia for the II half of 2013 has been approved today at a meeting of the Government of the Republic, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic Rostislav Khugaev.

When discussing the law-making activities the ministers of the Republic made suggestions about the deadline of submitting their bills to the government
After the discussion, the document was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers with the amendments and suggestions.
Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic Gregory Kulidzhanov submitted a number of issues for discussion, In particular, a provision on the licensing of medical practice in the Republic and the draft laws "On the basis of health protection in the Republic of South Ossetia" and "On immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases." Regarding the latter bill Kulidzhanov noted the need for immunization of the infectious patients.
"Great importance is attached to immunization of the infectious patients, including cancer patients, especially in autumn - the minister said. - Unfortunately, these patients have post-vaccination complications that can lead to disability and even to death. Therefore, this bill provides for social support of these patients and the need for adoption of the national immunization schedule."
The draft laws and the regulations submitted by Kulidzhanov were approved by members of the government.
The Chairman of the Committee for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare Marina Kochieva raised the issue of establishing and approval of the staff of a sanitary- anti-epidemic Commission under the Government of the Republic.
Her proposal was supported by members of the government.
The meeting also approved the statute and composition of the Board of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic and approved the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic "On the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia. ''
