Parliamentary delegation of South Ossetia headed by Vice Speaker Yuri Dzitstsoity attended a meeting of the Commission for Co-operation of the Federation Council and the Parliament of South Ossetia, which was held in Moscow today. The South Ossetian delegation is composed of Deputy Speaker Mira Tskhovrebova and a Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for legislation, legality and local self-government Amiran Diaconov.
As IA "Res" has been informed at the press service of the legislative body of the Republic, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of parliamentary support of the Investment Program to promote socio- economic development of South Ossetia for 2014-2016.
"The participants of the meeting also focused on the need to improve cooperation and strengthen the role of the legislative bodies of the two countries in the formation of the legal framework , training of the South Ossetian personnel in various fields," - the press -service
Particular attention was paid to the preparation of a number of important bills, including "On the state promotion of investment activity in the Republic of South Ossetia", "On state policy of the Republic of South Ossetia in state-private partnership", "On combating corruption" and " On administrative-territorial system of the Republic of South Ossetia."
The participants agreed to constantly parliamentary monitoring of the implementation of socio-economic programs.
