During the day, 125 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee; 41 were new cases of COVID-19 infection, in total, 1221 people fell ill during the opening of the border with the Russia (September 15), the Republic's chief sanitary doctor Marina Kochieva told IA "Res".
“Another 21 people have been removed from the register of doctors, and 155 patients have recovered since mid-September,” Kochieva said.
To date, according to Kochieva, 226 patients are undergoing treatment for Covid-19 throughout the Republic, of which 187 people are being treated at the RMMC in the city of Tskhinval, 39 people are in district medical institutions.
According to data on Saturday morning, 1,066 citizens who are sick with coronavirus are registered with doctors. In total, during the coronavirus pandemic in South Ossetia, 14 residents of the Republic died from the consequences of COVID-19, 8581 studies were carried out.
In the Republic, by the decision of the operational staff, the functioning of secondary, professional and higher educational institutions, children's institutions, entertainment centers, attractions, weddings, etc. was suspended until November 15.
