In turn, Vitaly Yankovsky positively assessed the high, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, dynamics of the development of the Pridnestrovian-South Ossetian relations last year, expressing special gratitude for the opportunity to organize a ceremony at the site of the PMR Foreign Ministry to commemorate the victims of the genocide of the South Ossetian people of 1918-1920 “, the press service said.
During the conversation, the diplomats elaborated on the discussion of plans for bilateral cooperation in 2021. In this context, they touched upon the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the humanitarian and cultural plane, including the holding of the next stage of the international drawing competition. They paid special attention to some topical issues of the functioning of the PMR Official Representation in the Republic of South Ossetia.
The diplomats agreed to continue a regular working dialogue across the entire spectrum of areas of cooperation.
Vitaly Valentinovich Yankovsky has been heading the diplomatic mission of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic since 2017.
