The CEC of South Ossetia sent invitations to observers at the presidential elections from the Russian Federation, North Ossetia, Abkhazia, DPR, LPR, Transnistria.
This was reported to the “Res” news agency by the secretary of the Central Election Commission of South Ossetia Kristina Avlokhova.
According to her, until April 1, the CEC is waiting for confirmation from observers to participate in the elections in the Republic.
"The representative of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and representatives of Lugansk have already confirmed their participation in the elections as observers," she said.
According to her, representatives of the Parliament of the Republic also informed the CEC that observers would also arrive at the elections through their line.
Avlokhova has added that representatives of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, in turn, reported that they would not be able to take part in the elections as international observers.
