"Map - Plan" of the state border of South Ossetia with Georgia sent to the President for decision-making - Muldarov

The Commission for the Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Border of South Ossetia with Georgia fulfilled its task of unilaterally defining the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia with Georgia. The corresponding statement was made by the Chairman of the Commission, deputy Garry Muldarov, the press service of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

The statement notes that in its work, the Commission was guided by Decree No. 2 of the All-Georgian Central Executive Committee of Councils and the Council of People's Commissars of the Socialist Soviet Republic of Georgia "On the Formation of the Autonomous Region of South Ossetia" dated April 20, 1922.

“On the basis of archival documents related to the implementation of Decree No. 2, a final report of the working group was drawn up and a draft “Map - Plan” of the State Border of South Ossetia with Georgia was drawn up,” the statement says.

The above documents were approved by the Commission for the Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Border of the Republic of South Ossetia with Georgia on March 2, 2023 and sent to President of the Republic for appropriate decisions.
