A grand meeting ''With love to a woman'' dedicated to the International Women's Day March 8 has been held in Tskhinval. The event began with the performance by the South Ossetian folk orchestra under the direction of Nina Valieva.
In the capital of South Ossetia will be held a meeting in memory of the deceased Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. This was said by South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov at the grand meeting dedicated to the International Women's Day.
In Tskhinvalhas been held a meeting of the Russian interdepartmental working group on improving the legislation of South Ossetia with heads of the ministries and governmental agencies of the Republic. The meeting discussed the current state of legislation in South Ossetia and developing of a plan of measures aimed at its improvement.
March 1, South Ossetian media center "Ir" will be three years. This, of course, is a small period of activities, but it showed that the work of the center was necessary and interesting to the public. At the round table in Tskhinval, organized by the Ministry of Defence as part of series of events devoted to the struggle of the people of South Ossetia for independence and freedom, were discussed the events of the late 1980's, early 90's, when Georgia had launched a military aggression against South Ossetia.
The draft Concept of socio-economic development of South Ossetia to 2030 was approved by the Cabinet at a government meeting held yesterday in Tskhinval under the chairmanship of President Leonid Tibilov. The issue for discussion was brought up by Minister for Economic Development of South Ossetia Zalina Khugati. She has noted that almost all ministries and agencies of the Republic were working on this document.

Nothing new has happened to us, the rhetoric is the same. Georgia`s unwillingness to face the reality is obvious. They have been ignoring us for 15 years, pretending we do not exist.
On the other hand, this event – is the affair, the policy of the Russian and the Georgian Orthodox churches. Of course, it concerns us indirectly, we know their position, but obviously it has nothing to do with us. We have our national church, and there is no reason for panic.
Draft Concept of socio-economic development of South Ossetia for 2013 - 2030 years has been discussed today at the round table in the capital of the Republic. The round table, chaired by the Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostislav Khugaev, was attended by heads of ministries and departments, parliamentarians, experts, representatives of scientific circles and the public of South Ossetia, as well as the head of the project designing - a representative of the Russian Center for Strategic Researches "Region" Denis Denisov and a representative of the Russian Institute of Urban Development and Investment Development Victor Kozyrev.
