Representatives of South Ossetia took part in the international forum "Comprehension of the Origin of Cultures of Friendly Nations as an Important Factor of Cooperation between the CIS Countries and the Republics of the Caucasus", which was being held from May18 - 20 in Sochi. The Forum was organized by the International Humanitarian Public Fund "Knowledge" and missions of the Russian Cooperation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
As IA "Res" has been reported by the Russian Cooperation representative in South Ossetia, Mikhail Stepanov on his arrival in Tskhinval, the South Ossetian delegation included teachers of the Russian language and literature of the educational institutions and the South-Ossetian State University, as well as representatives of the media of the Republic.

Ossetia was shocked by unprecedented brutality and cynicism of the Georgian murderers who had not spared even the 12-year-old child, finishing him off by "checking shot". 36 Ossetians became the victims of this tragedy; among them there were two children, ten women and eight old people.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov received the Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin. The President thanked the leadership of Russia for all-round assistance and supporting of South Ossetia.
"For my part, I want to assure the leadership of the Russian Federation, we will do our best to carry on the chosen course of our nation - forever with Russia. We will make every effort so that all the agreements which are concluded between our two countries, have been implemented in the near future "- said Tibilov.

Gymnasts of the South Ossetian Republican complex children's sports school will participate in the international children's gym festival "Alina", which will be held in Moscow on May 21. As IA "Res" has been informed by the information-analytical department of the Ministry of Education of South Ossetia, the young gymnasts and their coach Lyudmila Gabaraeva were personally invited by an organizer of the festival, a famous Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva.

The representatives of South Ossetia will take part in a youth international forum "And the eternal memory of the Twelfth Year", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Borodino Battle. Participation in the forum will come true through support of the Russian Cooperation in South Ossetia.

Webcams will be installed in the Information Centre of the Central Electoral Committee of South Ossetia. This has been reported to IA "Res" by the CEC Chairman Bella Plieva.
