South Ossetia is taking part in the Moscow Craft Event craft beer culture festival. As Taimuraz Goginov, the trade representative of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, told the "Res" news agency, the Republic presented the products of the High-Mountain Kel Brewery, including the flagship varieties of the Iryston line and a new product - Vienna beer.

"Participation in the festival is another important step in promoting the South Ossetian beer on the Russian market. South Ossetian products are attracting the attention of many festival visitors.

Ammunition cache has been found in the village of Iry-khæu in Tskhinval district, the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

As noted by the department, the cache contained 7.62 mm and 5.45 mm cartridges in the amount of 16 and 25 pieces, respectively; 14.5 mm cartridges from the KPVT - 4 units; a signal flare and a machine gun belt, of 1 piece each.

The ammunition was seized by sappers of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations and is subject to disposal in accordance with the established procedure.

During the operational and investigative activities carried out on Wednesday, the State Security Committee of South Ossetia identified another resident of Dzau district who had been regularly contacting representatives of the Georgian State Security Service and passed on to them the information that did not contain state secrets about the socio-political situation in the Republic of South Ossetia. This was reported by the press service of the department.

A ceremonial rally dedicated to the "Victory Relay" was held at the Border Guard Service of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia.

The President stressed the importance of preserving historical memory and passing it on to future generations.

April 28, 1991 is a tragic date in the modern history of South Ossetia.

On this day, seven unarmed residents of the village of Tsinagar in Leningor district - Otar Margiev, Givi Bibilov, Slavik Chertkoev, Zaur Khubulov, Otar Khubulov, Tengiz Dudaev and Taimuraz Khubulov - were killed by the Georgian militants while defending their pastures from cattle rustling.

This crime became one of the first evidences of growing aggression of Georgia.

For 34 years, this wound has been bleeding in the hearts of residents of the Republic and the relatives of the victims.
