The investigative bodies of the State Security Committee of South Ossetia are conducting the investigation into the Georgian citizens who violated the state border of the Republic, the KGB press service reports.

“On March 9, Georgian citizens Tenadze Tariel Archilovich, born in 1954, Tenadze Leonid Tarielovich, born in 1979, Tenadze Tariel Tarielovich, born in 1986 - residents of the village of Plavismani in the Gori municipality - were detained by the South Ossetian border guards for illegally crossing the state border of South Ossetia.

A meeting was held in Vladikavkaz between the President of the Chess Federation of South Ossetia Georgy Shavlokhov and the International Grandmaster, World Champion, Senator of the Russian Federation Sergey Karyakin.

At the meeting on Thursday, the South Ossetian government approved the adoption of a draft law on the ratification of a protocol amending the agreement with the Russian Federation on pension provision for the Russian citizens permanently residing in South Ossetia.
