South Ossetia insists on demilitarization of the bordering Georgian territories

Georgian armed forces, located at the border of South Ossetia, pose a threat to security of the Republic and not contribute to stability in the South Caucasus. This was said the reporters by the South Ossetian head of the delegation, the RSO Deputy Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty after the meeting of participants of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI), held today in the village of Ergneti.

Relatives of the missing South Ossetian citizens addressed to Prime Minister of Georgia

Relatives of the missing citizens of South Ossetia have addressed to the Prime Minister and Attorney General of Georgia to help in determining the fate of their family members. The appeal was handed to the OSCE co-chairman of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia Andriy Deshitsa before the beginning of the regular meeting of participants of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI), held in the Georgian village of Ergneti at the border of South Ossetia.

South Ossetian President paid a working visit to Leningor district

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has paid a working visit to Leningor district of the Republic, where he has met with the heads of departments of the district administration. As reported IA "Res" by a press secretary of the head of state Gana Yanovskaya, the president was interested in the work, carried out in all spheres of social life of the district.

South Ossetian citizens are being kept in prisons of Georgia on trumped up charges - South Ossetian Presidential Envoy

The Geneva talks on security in Transcaucasia are still important for South Ossetia, as it is one of the key factors of stability in the region.
This has been stated by the Presidential Envoy of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev at a joint briefing with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia, who have arrived today in Tskhinval.
