The ICRC extended its stay in South Ossetia for a year

The mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in South Ossetia extended their stay in the Republic. The decision was made in accordance with the order of the government of South Ossetia at the meeting on Friday.

The activity of the organization on the territory of the Republic was extended for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2022.

Issues related to the violation of the state border and the situation in the area of ​​the village of Tsnelis (Uista), where several years ago Georgian policemen set up the illegal post, were discussed at the 104th meeting of the IPRM format, the head of the South Ossetian delegation to the IPRM, Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy for post-conflict settlement, Egor Kochiev, told reporters.
