In the resolution of the UN General Assembly on the situation of internally displaced persons and refugees from South Ossetia and Abkhazia there is no a word that the cause of the problem is the military aggression unleashed by Georgia in 1989 against the South Ossetian and Abkhaz peoples, the RSO Foreign Ministry said in a commentary.

On Thursday, in Moscow, Children's Ombudsmen of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in the field of protecting the rights and interests of the child.

Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Aelita Dzhioeva is in the Russian capital on a working visit. During the visit, she met with the Children's Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova.
