In Tskhinval, South Ossetian scientists have been presented the collections of reports of the international scientific conference. The conference was held on November 27-28, 2019 and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Neuilly Peace Treaty. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Military Historical Commission in Paris / Neuilly-sur-Seine (France) under the slogan "The war, which was supposed to put an end to all wars."

The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin proposed to erect a monument to the fallen heroes of the DPR from invalids of the South Ossetian war by May 11, to the Independence Day of the DPR with the participation of the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov. He stated this at a meeting with a delegation of the Support Fund for the Wounded, and Disabled during the Hostilities in South Ossetia from 1989 to 2008, which paid a working visit to the DPR.

March 6, 1993 - The Supreme Council of North Ossetia voted to adopt a resolution recognizing the Republic of South Ossetia.
