Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.

According to the department, the guests were welcomed and congratulated on a significant date by President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and the Vice-President of the country, Rosario Murillo.

The Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation at the invitation of the Nicaraguan side took part in the solemn reception on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Victory of the Sandinist Revolution.

According to the press service of the diplomatic organization, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Znaur Gassiev in a congratulatory message noted the Victory of the Sandinista Revolution as a demonstration of the commitment of the Nicaraguan people to the ideals of freedom.

South Ossetia highly appreciates the friendly South Ossetian-Nicaraguan relations and is deeply grateful to the leadership and people of Nicaragua for their invaluable support in one of the most difficult periods in the history of the young state. This is stated in the congratulatory message of President Alan Gagloev to Nicaraguan leader Daniel Ortega on the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution.

The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to Simon Bolivar, the most authoritative leader in the war for the independence of the Spanish colonies in America. The monument was erected in Moscow on the occasion of the 240th anniversary of Bolivar's birth.

Representatives of South Ossetia are taking part in the International Youth Tourist-Patriotic Forum "United Caucasus". This was reported by the press service of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic.

The event is taking place in Kabardino-Balkaria. Young people from various Caucasian republics are invited to the Forum.

“The South Ossetian delegation has included Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports Soslan Gassiev, press officer Diana Dzhussoeva and the MGIMO student activist Ada Tasoeva,” the Committee has noted.

A cache of ammunition was found in the warehouses of the Melioration state institution in Tskhinval, the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

According to the press service, the sappers of the rescue department immediately left for the place.

"Fragmentation grenade launcher shots were found - 17 in the amount of 28 pieces, cartridges from a 12.7 machine gun - 160 pieces and fuses from a 120-mm mortar - 12 pieces," the Ministry of Emergency Situations has specified.

South Ossetia took part in the Future Technologies Forum “Computing and Communications. Quantum world. First Deputy Prime Minister Alan Dzhioev told reporters about the results of one of the most prestigious scientific and practical events in the field of quantum technologies and the agreements reached on its sidelines.

A delegation of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) headed by Rector of the university Nadezhda Kamynina arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.

Ambassador of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev and Deputy Head of the Nicaraguan Foreign Ministry Arlette Marenko discussed the state and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

The Foreign Ministry noted that the meeting between the Ambassador and the Deputy Minister took place as part of Narim Kozaev's trip to Managua to attend celebrations on the occasion of the victory of the Sandinista revolution.
