Investigative actions are being conducted in regard to the citizens of Georgia, arrested for illegal crossing of the frontier of the RSO. On Saturday, June, 18 four citizens of Georgia have been detained near the village Koz in Dzauskiy region of the RSO; six more their fellow citizens have also been detained at the same place on Sunday on June, 19. As the news agency "Res" has been informed by the press-service of the Committee for State Security (KGB) of South Ossetia, the citizens of Georgia penetrated into the territory of the RSO for one and a half kilometer.
«The frontier service has predicted such kind of event as in this district the illegal crossings of the border take place annually during this period. Both the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the representatives of the Mission of the international observers of the European Union in Georgia have been notified about this action so that such infringements of the border have been prevented. However, as we see, no any measures have been undertaken on their part», - the press-service has noted. According to their information, the citizens of Georgia have been riding. Investigative actions are being carried out now, at the completion of which all the matter materials will be taken to court.
