South Ossetia is ready for a second round of presidential elections in the Republic. As reported to IA "Res" by the Chairman of the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia Bella Plieva, 40 000 ballots have already been printed and sent to the territorial and divisional election committees.
According to her, the lists of voters have included 39,790 people.
"As in all previous rounds the passports of the voted electorate will be sealed again. The form of the stamp has been changed again, it will be right-angled,"- said Plieva. CEC has also noted that all polling stations are ready for the election. "The number of polling stations has not changed; they are still 84, including the two polls in the village of Upper Ruck in Dzausky district for the citizens of South Ossetia, living in the territory of North Ossetia. One poll will be functioning in Moscow, in the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation"-clarified Plieva.

She has also reported that the CEC sent invitations to the international observers who had monitored the voting in the presidential election on March 25. "All of them confirmed their agreement to arrive to the second round," - said Plieva.
The CEC has also noted that during the second round of elections in the Republic the exit polls will not be held.
"In the morning of April 8, along with the start of voting, the CEC Informational Center will be opened in the Republic; all information about the voting process will be sent there. Preliminary information on the results of elections will be presented to the media there ", - said Plieva.
She has noted that the elections will be successful if attended by more than 30% of voters.
"The winner is determined by a simple majority of votes. Moreover, the number of voters who voted "against all" should not exceed the number of votes, given for the winner,"- explained Plieva.
It should be reminded, the second round of presidential re-election in South Ossetia will be held on April 8.
