The grandiose international festival-contest "Origins" will be held in several cities of Turkey from June 22 to July 1. An opera singer from South Ossetia, the owner of a rare voice - dramatic soprano Amaga Gotti (Irina Gotoeva) will take part in the festival of Russian-Turkish friendship. Honored Artist of the RSO and the RNO-Alania, the owner of the title "Bella Voce" of the Italian Opera Competition, will represent South Ossetia as part of the Russian delegation.
As the singer has told the "Res" news agency, she is honored to represent her homeland at such a prestigious festival.
"This is another great opportunity to declare our Ossetia to the whole world," she said.
Amaga Gotti will not only delight the viewer with the magnificent performance of famous operatic works in Ossetian, Italian and Russian, but will also make a presentation at the round table planned for the project.
Among the professional artists and stars who, apart from Amagi Gotti, will participate in the festival are People's Artist of Russia Lyudmila Safonova, opera singer,, director of the opera company Commonwealth Lyric Theater in Boston Alexander Prokhorov, singer, head of the cultural center "Gzhel", founder and the teacher of vocal academy in Germany Nina Penner-Baranova.
Among the young artists are vocalists, choirs, dance groups, musical ensembles, winners and owners of the grand prix "Origins" of different years.
The program of the festival includes concert programs in Russian, a round table "Russian-Turkish cooperation in the field of culture and tourism", vocal competitions, a concert of the festival participants in different languages of the world and a gala concert.
The organizers of the event are the ANO Center for Civil Initiatives "The Right to Life" (Russia), the Organizing Committee of the International Song Contest "Istoki" (Russia), the Mayor of Managwat (Turkey), the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots Organizations in Turkey.
Amag Gotti is not the first time becoming a participant in this prestigious international festival. In addition, other creative projects are associated with Turkey. Among them - the chairmanship in the jury and participation in the international festival-competition of Russian performers "Russian Song" in the city of Alanya (Turkey).
