In fact, all the facilities of the Investment Program to promote Socio-Economic Development of South Ossetia for 2018-2019 were put into operation, many of them have already been transferred to the balance-sheet holders, said President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov at a meeting with the Russian delegation, arrived in the Republic on Tuesday, headed by Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs Igor Koshin.
According to Anatoly Bibilov, the implementation of the Investment Program this year is completing on a high note.
“Today's meeting is associated with joyful impressions of the facilities that we visited. A special joy and pride is caused by a maternity hospital in which two babies have already been born. Along with the maternity hospital, I would like to mention the magnificent buildings of the kindergarten and the tax committee, multi-storey buildings,” the President said.
Quality and deadlines
According to him, compared with last year, there is a noticeable improvement both in terms of completion of the facilities and the quality of work.
“The Republic’s systematic development is underway, I would like to express my gratitude in this regard to Russia, the assistance of which is of a social nature. We see and feel its attentive and serious attitude in terms of the development of our country,” said Bibilov.
Igor Koshin, in turn, noted that today, following the results of a two-year investment program, the most remarkable facilities were opened.
“Undoubtedly, the “pearl” of which is the maternity hospital, in which two girls have already been born,” he emphasized. - This is a modern facility equipped with the latest technology. We have also opened a very good kindergarten, which, as we were assured, the children will storm by February 1. It is also remarkable that today people received from the Russian Ambassador the keys to new apartments in the presence of the President of the Republic. These are high-quality and spacious houses that were built in the Tsarz microdistrict. This all suggests that the quality of life in the Republic is changing with the efforts of the leadership of the Republic, the Russian Federation represented by our President, the Minkavkaz, and the Presidential Executive Office of Russia.”
The Russian official has added that the performance on the investment program this year is very good.
“By 2/3 this year there is more development than last year,” said Koshin.
In South Ossetia they know how to build
Anatoly Bibilov, for his part, has added that there is confidence that all the facilities of the Investment Program, not counting the hotel, which is an event rolling over to next year, will be completed by the end of the year.
“The pace of the construction of the memorial complex is slightly delayed, which is associated with the artistic part of the object. Our sculptors are creative people who scrupulously approach the issue, but I think they will soon decide on their decision,” the head of state said.
According to him, the indicators for the implementation of the Investment Program show that South Ossetia is able to plan, build and bring things to the end.
“This is the most important drive forward, which I consider very important to note,” the President said. - As for the plans for the next years, they are no less ambitious. In 2020, I think the investment program should be completed in November. And if the design and estimate documentation is ready, then we can start working at the facilities earlier than usual - in March-April, and with calm, confident steps to complete the program.”
The meeting was also attended by Russian Ambassador Marat Kulakhmetov, Prime Minister of the Republic Eric Pukhaev, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office for Socio- Economic Cooperation with the CIS countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia Denis Travin, Head of the Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Finance - Eduard Dzagoev and Aza Khabalova, Chairman of the Committee on Road Construction and operation of highways Eduard Guzzitaev.
